For as long as she can remember has been inspired by her art to express the beauty she sees in nature and the world around her.
Born of Georgian & Kazakh descent, Aigana had a classical arts education & was raised in an artistic family on the ancient crossing on the Great Silk Road in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It’s dramatic landscapes and unique blend of Asian and European influences continue to transcend her work.
Through bold, dramatic canvases and textile creations, Aigana expresses a rare spirituality in which she explores the natural world, or invokes myths and legends from different cultures.
She explores universal human themes through elaborate concepts of duality, such as physical world and spiritual beliefs, reality and imagination, human constructions and nature, being and nothingness. In her London studio, Aigana invokes the atmospheric emptiness of the vast Eurasian Steppe plains.
Aigana works across a variety of media, including oils, acrylics, pastels, textiles, and photography, and more recently has created her unique Manifestations Art- Couture clothing range, which unifies fine art with luxury fashion.
She has exhibited widely across the world. In 2019, her work will be showcased at the Saatchi Gallery’s START art fair in London, which celebrates exciting new art from emerging artists around the world. Aigana brings her skills to commissioned works individual collectors , and clients such as St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, Marriott Hotels, and The Ritz-Carlton.
