Giorgia Lualdi's artistic journey commences with the captivating challenge of capturing the emotions evoked by gemstones and encapsulating them within works of art.
"My constant question is: what kind of emotions can gemstones used in a piece of art evoke in the observer? Can I convey the emotions that these materials evoke in me? These materials are miracles of nature, originating from a distant past, traversing our present, and destined for an unknown future, carrying with them all the allure of the world's history. In crafting a piece of art, I strive to honor these noble materials, which is why I use only rough stones to emphasize their purity and perfection. My purpose is to imbue my artworks with these emotions, providing those interested in this journey with a new way to contemplate gems."

Giorgia Lualdi's artistic journey commences with the captivating challenge of capturing the emotions evoked by gemstones and encapsulating them within works of art. Each material employed in a piece of art suggests different emotions and perceptions; for example, the sensations stirred by wood, iron, or glass are entirely distinct. Pink opal, pink quartz, aquamarine, and fluorite are among the materials she employs, utilizing a mixed technique including collage, gold leaf, and acrylic.
