Updated: Feb 27, 2022

Are you struggling with getting that special personal feeling in your home especially the bedroom, even if you just remodeled it? Would you like to have a magazine-worthy feeling in your bedroom? Do you feel something is missing in your home? Reflects your personality and the story you would like to tell. (Check FREE GUIDELINE for more info.)

So, since it’s always a great idea to spruce up your bedroom look and give it some extra charm, we will help you improve your bedroom experience and totally elevate it. Also, unique interior items can be time-consuming to find if you don’t have good suppliers or the right connections!

  1. Create an Accent Wall

You can paint the wall a different color or use wallpaper on this wall. The purpose of an accent wall is to create a focal point to a room; a place that your eye naturally gravitates to when you enter a space or room. An accent wall can make a room feel bigger with impact or even make a large room feel cozier. Also, finishing touches give your bedroom a soul, fragrances you use in your bedroom can affect your mood. Choosing the best oil or best candle scents for bedroom spaces can be tricky. While you want it to smell fresh, you also don’t want something overpowering or a scent that inhibits your sleep. Sleep is vital to our overall well-being after all.

Dark-colored walls create the illusion of depth and make the room feel much bigger than it is but accent walls can also help connect colors and fabrics to create a cohesive effect within a space or room.

2. Connect With the Outdoors

While this might not be feasible in all climates, connecting a room with the outdoors is a great way to make the space feel larger and admit more natural light. If your bedroom is on the ground floor (or is on the second story and has an adjacent terrace), adding a set of French doors can instantly increase visual space.

3. Bedding Choices

You'll need to select the style of top bedding, such as a comforter, duvet cover, quilt, or bedspread. You may want to layer your bedding for a designer look. You'll want to choose a specific style, such as elegant bedding or a rustic farmhouse look.

4. Pick Out Artwork for Your Bedroom

The gallery wall trend has stood the test of time, and they always look beautiful displayed above a bed or to spruce up a boring wall. And you can really tailor them to suit your tastes – if you like a minimal look pick the asymmetrical layout and pick a clear color theme, and more a more laid-back look don't stick to such a rigid format and mismatch your frames.
